Designed as a game or field gun, it comes with a lightweight alloy aluminium action. The mechanics of the gun are basic, but clean and well put together, with hammers pivoting from the floor of the action. The action frame itself is a one piece, which gives it maximum strength. The hammers are powered forward by coil springs.
The oil finished stock sports a beautiful and crisp checkering pattern, and the Schnabel fore-end adds to the classic style of this over-under. The stock is finished off with a well fitted butt pad.
The action frame is finished in matt satin silver with a little engraving on the gun, with just the maker’s name and a picture of a flying duck etched on to the action sides. The top lever is finished bright with some attractive etched scroll lines.
