01The promoter

The competition is run by [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] trading as Zimbi (registration number [REG NUMBER]), [STREET ADDRESS], (“Zimbi”, “we”). By taking part you accept these rules.

02The prize

One (1) ZEISS Conquest V4 4‑16×44 riflescope with Z-Plex reticle and ASV elevation turret, with a recommended retail value of R[VALUE] (VAT included).

• The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another product.
• If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we will give a riflescope of equal or greater value.
• The manufacturer’s warranty applies to the prize.

03Who may enter

The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older who are customers of Zimbi.

The following people may take part in the store as customers but cannot win the prize:

• directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants of Zimbi;
• anyone who supplies goods or services in connection with this competition, including the prize and its marketing;
• the spouses, life partners and immediate family members of the people above.

04How to enter

1. Buy anything from Zimbi, in store or online at zimbi.co.za.
2. Every Zimbi invoice dated from 1 November 2026 to 30 November 2026 is automatically one entry. One invoice, one entry — there is nothing to fill in.
3. There is no entry fee. Prices are our normal (or advertised sale) prices and are not increased because of the competition.

05Closing date

Entries close on 30 November 2026 at 23:59. Invoices dated after that are not entries.

06The draw

• The winner is drawn on Tuesday 1 December 2026 at our store.
• One invoice is selected at random, by a random number generator, from the list of all entries. The customer named on that invoice is the winner.
• The draw is overseen and certified by an independent [ACCOUNTANT / REGISTERED AUDITOR / ATTORNEY], [NAME AND FIRM].
• The result of the draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into about it.

07How the winner is told

• We contact the winner by phone and email, using the details on the invoice, within two business days of the draw.
• The result is announced on zimbi.co.za and on our social media pages. We publish only the winner’s first name, surname initial and town.
• The winner does not have to appear in photographs, take part in marketing or attend the draw, and may decline any publicity.
• If we cannot reach the winner after three attempts over seven days, or the winner cannot accept the prize under these rules, a new winner is drawn in the same way.

08Collecting the prize

• The prize is collected at Zimbi, [STREET ADDRESS], during trading hours, within 30 days of the winner being told.
• The winner shows their ID and signs an acknowledgement of receipt.
• The winner confirms in writing that they are not one of the people who may not win (rule 3).
• If the winner cannot collect in person, we can arrange delivery at our cost within South Africa.

09Your personal information

We use the details on your invoice only to run this competition and contact the winner, as set out in our privacy policy and in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act. As the Consumer Protection Act requires, we keep the competition records (the entries, the draw and the winner’s acknowledgement of receipt) for three years.

10General

• These rules are available free of charge on this page and in store, and to the National Consumer Commission on request.
• We may change these rules only where the law requires it. Any change is published on this page.
• This competition is run under section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and its regulations. Nothing in these rules limits your rights under that Act.
• Zimbi is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from the use of the prize, except as provided by law.
